“We freed up our designers time by using Slate, which enabled us to quickly adapt to any situation and create assets on the fly for new executions.”
“We would have never been able to produce as much quality content without Slate this year.”
RBC HERITAGE CONTENT TEAM
In the lead-up to their 2021 tournament, the RBC Heritage content team recognized they needed a solution to offset onsite constraints. After seeing parent organization, PGA Tour, improve the consistency and quality of their social content using Slate, RBC Heritage knew it would be the perfect solution to help bolster their social efforts.
The team filled their Slate web portal with filters, graphics, and of course, lots of plaid before the tournament kicked off so that they could create content onsite using the Slate mobile app. As play began, the team quickly realized they needed to pivot some of their original content ideas due to unanticipated restrictions brought on by COVID. They were able to do this seamlessly thanks to the time Slate saved their team of creators, freeing them up to create new assets. Enter in the “Kid Reporter” content – our personal favorite.
With a robust dashboard of creative, the team of three creators was able to produce more content with branded elements than any of their previous tournaments, without sacrificing any of their brand aesthetic.
Tournament weeks on the PGA TOUR can get so wild. During RBC Heritage, Slate made it so easy to produce not only more content throughout the week, but
more eye-catching, engaging content.
