Brand Hub

Your brand, loaded into every edit.

Brand Hub is where your social team’s brand lives in Slate. Fonts, colors, logos, graphics, templates, presets, and licensed audio, managed by the people who own the brand and loaded automatically into every project the team creates, on web and in the Slate mobile app (iOS and Android).

Features

  • Brand Hub: Fonts, colors, and text presets

    Fonts, colors, and text presets

Upload your brand fonts, add unlimited colors by HEX code, and save text styles with outlines, shadows, and highlights as presets. Define them once; every project on web and mobile starts with them loaded.

  • Rio applying the MANA brand system inside Brand Hub

AI that edits within your brand rules

Rio pulls its fonts, presets, and assets from your Brand Hub, so an AI edit looks like the rest of your team’s work. Brand guardrails apply to Rio the same as to everyone else.

  • Brand Hub: Graphics, overlays, and animated overlays

    Graphics, overlays, and animated overlays

Logos, lower thirds, frames, score bugs, and motion overlays, uploaded once and available to everyone. Static or animated, they drop onto any photo or video in a tap.

  • Brand Hub: PSD templates with locked layers

    PSD templates with locked layers

Turn designer-built PSDs into templates the whole team can fill. Swap the photo, the name, and the score; the parts that make it your brand stay locked.

  • Brand Hub: Backgrounds, intros, and outros

    Backgrounds, intros, and outros

Branded backgrounds for reposts and stories, intro and outro cards for every video. The pieces that make a post look finished, without opening a design tool.

  • Brand Hub: Licensed music and your own audio

Licensed music and your own audio

Browse Slate’s library of licensed music and sound effects, cleared for digital use, or upload the tracks your brand owns. No more guessing what’s safe to post.

  • Brand Hub: Multiple Brand Hubs

    Multiple Brand Hubs

Run several brands, properties, or clients from one account, each with its own assets, templates, and users. Agencies and multi-brand teams keep every workspace separate and every team on the right brand.

  • Brand Hub: Roles and permissions

    Roles and permissions

Four permission levels decide who can add to the Brand Hub and who can only create from it. Designers set the system; everyone else creates inside it.

More about Brand Hub

  • What is Brand Hub?
Brand Hub is where your brand lives in Slate: fonts, colors, logos, graphics, overlays, backgrounds, templates, text presets, and licensed audio, managed in one place and loaded automatically into every project your team creates on web and mobile.
  • Who is Brand Hub for?
Brand and design leads who own how the brand looks, and social teams who need to create on it every day without a review on every post. It’s used by single-brand social teams, leagues and media groups with many properties, agencies with many clients, and universities with many departments.
  • Is Brand Hub a DAM like Bynder or Frontify?
No, and it doesn’t need to be. A DAM stores and governs approved assets; Brand Hub is the working brand system inside the editor your team actually creates in: fonts, presets, templates, and audio applied automatically to every project. Many teams run both, with Slate connected to their asset source such as PhotoShelter or Getty Images.
  • Who can edit the Brand Hub?
Whoever you choose. Slate has four permission levels, so designers and brand owners can manage assets while the rest of the team creates from them without being able to change them.
  • Can we run more than one brand?
Yes. Multiple Brand Hubs let agencies, leagues, media groups, and multi-brand companies keep each brand, client, or property in its own workspace with its own assets, templates, and users.
  • How do brand guardrails work?
Templates lock the layers that define your brand and leave editable the ones that change post to post. Text presets, colors, and fonts are picked from the approved set rather than typed in. The result is speed without a manual brand check.
  • Does Brand Hub work on mobile?
Yes. The same fonts, presets, templates, and assets are available in the Slate mobile app (iOS and Android), so content made at an event looks the same as content made at a desk.
  • How is Brand Hub different from a Canva brand kit?
A brand kit is a suggestion; anyone can override it. Brand Hub is the system your team actually creates inside: locked template layers, approved presets, a licensed audio library, and permission levels that keep the brand in the hands of the people who own it.
  • Does Rio follow the Brand Hub?
Yes. Rio edits inside your brand system: it applies your fonts, caption presets, safe zones, and approved assets automatically, with nothing to configure per edit.
