PGA Tour creates 12+ pieces of content per day using Slate

The Story

With such a range of events throughout the year, PGA Tour was looking for a tool to create consistent content throughout all their tournaments, while driving efficiency. The PGA Tour Digital team identified “translating PGA Tour’s brand style to Instagram consistently and effectively week-to-week” as one of their goals for social content.

PGA Tour’s team has been able to capture the essence of each of their tournaments and tournament golfers while maintaining their own brand identity. This has led to the ability to use the tool from their Instagram stories to their Twitter feed without missing a beat.

PGA Tour’s Slate usage first started with Sunday celebrations highlighting the winners of each tournament but quickly expanded to a wider variety of content. Any day of the week you can look at PGA Tour’s social handles and see live content as well as day-to-day content with an emphasis on increasing audience engagement.

We’ve have quickly expanded the use of Slate to generating daily, high performing content across platforms.
