The Story

Within the beauty industry, brands are always looking for ways to stand out amongst the crowd. Lapcos started using Slate for their brand handles at the beginning of 2021. “Slate has helped to enhance our brand aesthetic on social media, and how we internally announce brand news —whether it be launching new products, sharing recent press hits or promoting monthly activations,” said Robin Bouweiri from Lapcos’s Influencer Marketing team. They decided to take it a step further and grant the LapCrew, the brand’s influencer group, access to Slate.

“Our partnership has helped elevate our influencer content, and therefore the ways in which we are perceived by social media at large,” Bouweiri added. The Lapcos team weren’t the only ones who saw the fruits of using Slate. Influencer, Cami Gastiaburu, said, “It’s such a cool app. I love how easy it is to use + my branded stories are 10x cuter than other paid posts I make.” To further this usage, Lapcos reposted influencer content to their brand channels which amplified their consumers’ voices and drove greater relationships with their audience.
