THE STORY

To bring their “One Mission” brand campaign to life across social media, the Rockets filled their Slate account with custom branded graphics, filters, fonts, and animations. This allowed the Rockets social team the flexibility to create on-brand content, on-the-fly, without having to rely on extra design resources or waste time sending content back and forth.“It is a one stop shop for us. We are able to create everything we need right from our phones, and that’s essential. We have been able to totally eliminate using a computer to add creative to content,” said Joshi.

Leveraging Slate was so efficient for the Rockets, they used it for over 95% of all Stories content, and more than 50% of all the posts across social media, during the season.“If I had to guess, I would say our time to create social content has been cut in half using Slate,” said Joshi.They also leveraged Slate’s efficiency and creative possibilities to service their valuable corporate sponsors every game with branded filters, frames, and stickers. “With Slate, we’re able to produce and post sponsored social content from the bus! It has become a revenue generating opportunity for us in its ability to quickly integrate sponsors to real-time content.”
